Thornton Force

By MikeDGreen
An experiment with very long exposures on water (this is just over two minutes).

One of the waterfalls on the Ingleton waterfalls walk in the Yorkshire Dales.

Love the smooth water but do you think there is reciprocity failure creeping in here with the magenta cast?

Very possibly! (I think I vaguely understand what that means...) I like the effect anyway. To be honest, the rocks were very close to that colour; it was raining and quite dark at the time.

Err...... does reciprocity failure occur with digital sensors? I had previously thought it was a film effect.

Thanks Freila. I'd been wanting to try this for ages too and finally acquired a suitable filter - good fun - takes a while to do!
