Thornton Force

Did the waterfalls walk in Ingleton on our way back from the Lakes(see previous 2 posts) with the kids. Really busy all the way round but managed to get a shot of highest of the falls on the walk. No tripod so the shot was handheld (resting on a rock with cameras just inches above the water!). This was the only shot I managed to hold the camera steady.

Thanks for the kind comments guys. It was a very overcast day (in fact it started snowing about 5 minutes after the shot was taken), so getting a decent shutter speed wasn't a problem.
