This is a woman that I have come to know in the Napier Squatter Camp. She has suffered a lifetime of deprivation, hardship and abuse and yet she always seems to have an easy smile... Her life appears to be written on her face... I caught her in a reflective moment.

The hand on the face adds much to this shot. Like your selection of mono for many of your images, the removal of colour adds impact to your type of work. A pleasure to view.
