Thoughts Of Where And When

By cabinfever
Were you born on a freezing morning at winter's end?

Did you drop, cold and wet onto frigid Nevada soil?

Did you watch your first sunrise in the Idaho dawn?

Did you grow and thrive on lush Kansas plains?

Did you sweat underneath a broiling Texan sun?

Did you spend your last hours under a Montana moon?

Or did you bellow and kick amongst concrete and steel?

I looked at the little tag beside you for more information.

I turned it over.

But all it said was.....

"Sixty nine dollars and ninety nine cents"

Ummmm, I think I messed up here. I didn't intend to post this for critique.
It just seemed to get in the crit gallery by accident.
Don't know what happened. It's been a while since I posted anything so maybe somethings changed.

Is there any way to get it back to just the general gallery?

If not, cest la vie.

No, - you have to wait until tomorrow, - but do post it again, - its very good.

Loaded a couple of mods anyway you might consider. Larger canvas, swapped orientation, sharpened.

Hey, thanks guys.

Willie I like that mono mod. I was originally wanting to convert this to mono but it wasn't working out too well so I just kept it as colour and processed it the way you see up top there.

Converting it from THAT to mono has more of the look I was trying to achieve.
Thanks for that, I've learned from it.
I never thought of changing the orientation either.
The larger canvas size helps to stop the horn from getting too close to the top of the image - so that's great.

I'm glad it ended up here now.
Thank you again so much.

Really like this - would have voted for it if I'd had the chance!
