Three Monkeys

By tigertimb
Thankyou to everyone who voted on the previous shot of Rachel. I was originally planning on uploading another single shot of her swinging on the monkey bars when I realised that 3 out of the 4 shots were fairly well spaced and I decided to try and be a bit more adventurous.
My friend showed me "hugin" which is principally for panoramas, but after telling it common points in the 3 jpegs it aligned them (sortof) and was then able to drop out three separate overlapping tiffs. I brought the 3 resulting tiffs into PSPX2 as layers and then had a quick tutorial from another friend on how to use layer masks.
Several hours of pushing, poking, cloning, painting, blending and cajoling and a couple of days later the result was #4 from the originals: #5-7.
Tried lots of ways of then framing the final image and I like #1 the best with a feeling of perspective, but I've also uploaded #2 and #3 as alternatives.
I would love any feedback but particularly any suggestions or mods on alternative ways of cropping or displaying the final image

well put together, i think the black border would suit this image more than the epz blue, with a bit of playing about, like changing the hues of her top and adding another background, could make this image jump out more, G

Thankyou; the black background was my original intention but I completely forgot! An interesting idea to play with the colours and not something I'd considered

Also, so nice to see youngsters (all 3 of her!) allowed to do something adventurous ...............just make sure Health and Safety don't get to see it !

Very clever stuff Tim, and I like the shots, above my level when it comes to processing I'm afraid but well done for all the effort you have obviously put into this.
