Three Vikings on a beach in Iceland

By TheURL
Here's a couple of monochrome shots ripe for improvement! These were taken at Reynisfjara beach on the south cost and was the result of lava instantly cooling as it reached the sea. Its also a popular nesting site for puffins so its a good beach to go to, even on a wet day.

Thanks for the mod Willie - it raises an interesting point. Do you want the person to be easier to see, or not? I called it "Three Vikings..." in order to coerce people into looking at the photo for longer than they might otherwise have done. Some people have difficulty finding the third person. I thought about calling it "Four Vikings..." but then decided that would be a bit unfair!

I was once in this spot on a day similar to yours, but as you say, still amazing. Can't see a third person??Blush

It's the one with umbrella! Sorry couldn't resist that Smile The lady facing the rocks is no 2 and the guy where the water's edge intersects the cliff edge is no 3.
