Award Shortlist

I can remember taking my thrift badge as a Brownie. I had to undo an old knitted item and make something useful from it. I've no idea what I undid, but I made a kettle holder from it which we used years later at the caravan - in fact we kept it there during the years we had one and it was a very useful item !!
I have some thrift that grow around a border in my back garden and its just about to finish flowering, so I took this yesterday to upload .
Many thanks to Moira, Angela and Richard for their much appreciated User Awards for yesterday's photo and to all who clicked or left comments
Take care in this heat !!!

Superb framing Helen.
I didn't realise there was a garden variety of thrift - I always
associate it with rocks at the seaside.
