Thrift

I can remember taking my thrift badge as a Brownie. I had to undo an old knitted item and make something useful from it. I've no idea what I undid, but I made a kettle holder from it which we used years later at the caravan - in fact we kept it there during the years we had one and it was a very useful item !!
I have some thrift that grow around a border in my back garden and its just about to finish flowering, so I took this yesterday to upload .

Superb framing Helen.
I didn't realise there was a garden variety of thrift - I always
associate it with rocks at the seaside.
