By Anthony
This is Thruscross Reservoir, shot on the NW Members Meeting the other week.

Shot RAW, converted using Phase1 and CS2.

1/8th sec at f11, tripod mounted, medium ND grad fitted.

This is a totally natural phoenomenon, no digital trickery at all. No digital manipulation at all.

Any and all comments are very welcome.

I am on holiday till a week on Sunday, and will reply to any comments upon my return. Thanks in advance.

These are called lenticular clouds, as they are lens-shaped. They often form in a stationary position where cold air meets warm, damp air over hills, mountains or coasts.

thanks for that, I did wonder about the fact they barely moved the entire time we were there. That explaines it.

Cheers.
