Thunderbolt

An image from my day at Duxford Battle of Britain Airshow.

Republic P-47D Thunderbolt 'Nellie' G-THUN known as 'the Jug', P-47 Thunderbolts of the USAAF 78th Fighter Group flew from RAF Duxford in support of the D-Day invasions in June 1944.

I have desaturated the back ground to draw more emphasis to the P-47 Thunderbolt
