Time & Tide

By AngieLatham
Evenin all Smile

I was going to post one from the Quiraing today but I see my Hubby's beaten me to it.....so its back to the Castle and our last night of photography. A high tide and a fast moving sky made for some interesting 10-stopper looking pics at a meer 30 second exposure.

Thanks for looking, hope you like it Smile

wow....thanks everyone and special big thanks for Dougie n Mands User awards! A bit stunned at all the attention this is getting.....but well chuffed at the same time Grin

Les....it's not a 10-stop.....not enough funds to buy one of those! I was useing a 0.9 ND grad and a 0.9 ND grad. The bridge was actually sheltering us from quite a strong wind which was blowing from the East, thats why the skye has so much movement in but the water seems calm. Funnily enough there was a largegroup of photographers in a mini bus tour on the other side of the bridge trying to shoot the castle from the more usual angle ,but the choppy water did not make for good pics that side. Glad we made the decision to go far from the madding crowd! Smile

Thanks for the congrats too....yes, it is now Mrs Latham , and I'm already getting rather used to it Smile

The long exposure has certainly put a different slant on a well known viewpoint Angela. Looks excellent. I particularly like the movement of the reeds/grass in the water.
