One word just springs to mind .... Quality. Reminds me a lot of the work of Mikel Arrizabalaga. The richness of tones, that soft glow associated with photomatix, I love everything about it.
At first view I was unsure about the softness of the box, but it just sets off the watch & broach which are pin sharp.

You won't be disappointed. At least by the still life's - some of his other stuff is a bit OTT for my likings.
Janet the softness is what makes the image - contrasts. Light / Shadow, Sharp / Soft etc too many look for everything pin sharp all the time.
What I didn't say is I have a lot of respect for anyone that does still lifes well - I've tried and failed miserably - I just don't have the patience - and few have the ability to bring them alive.. Tho ironically I wasted half the morning on eBay looking for a couple of things for a project.

No I wasn't Nick...he has a fantastic collection of things,I wish some of them were in my box !
Keep going with the still life stuff Nick, when it works it's great, although I have had many failures ! 'tis fun trying. The light is so important as that is the thing that brings it to life,it's difficult to try & give objects form if the lighting is all wrong

Thankyou for your comments & votes everyone, much appreciated.
