Thanks Pamela for your award and comment, much appreciated. The pump is actually not functioning as it should, having been discarded because it doesn't work, a friend acquired it and lent it to me. I saw the potential and rigged up a temporary water supply especially to get this image (and others) I'm breaking the ice on my pond regularly as well
