What a lovely rich feel this has even with its muted colours.

Thanks folks Smile

Yep - it's a me thing - I'm going through a bit of an iffy phase with my pics! That said I've just got a batch printed up for the gallery and I reckon they'll look rather nice when they're all framed up......

Yep Rob - the vase does appear to be tilting - it must have been stood over the join in the lacy bit and the plain centre bit of the mat. I must pay more attention Smile

Well if you can produce something this good when you're going through 'a bit of an iffy phase', I envy you .............. really like the tone of this image; hope the gallery exhibition goes well, with your range and quality of images I'm sure it will ............. Jenni

Thanks again everyone- still not 100% sure about this one but nothing ventured.

I've been having a quick play with it - though I've only got Picasa on the office computer but it's not a bad bit of software for basic stuff.

The white Anemones are going a bit brown round the edges now - it might be time to think about getting some more while they're still available.......

Thanks again folks Smile

Actually I don't use sugar in anything - I only bought the sugar lumps for photos but admittedly the odd one does get consumed whilst taking pics Smile

Lovely still life. The bottle and flower on their own would be lovely.Think I prefer V2 but sometimes I wish I could do a more subdued lighting effect.Grin
