Time passes.. rut's over...

My apologises for my absence but I needed time to attend to other matters at home including decorating my flat. Thank you for your votes, comments & continued support in the past. I have missed being on site & voting on your great images & will need to play catch up for some days so please bear with me.Blush

I hope you may like my image of the Red deer stag which was taken at sunrise yesterday at Bushy Park, S.London with Lillian & friends. We were surprised to hear during our visit that the annual rut was over as it appears to have happened quickly this year due to the wet weather perhaps...

It was a lovely visit and I must thank Lillian for her expert guidance during our visit to this lovely place.

What a melancholy image ...
I came to Bushy Park in early October and the ruts were everywhere, especially in the meadows on the left side of the road (entering from Lion Gate and beyond the Woodland gardens).
Now everything is silent? Already the season of rut is over?
