Time to Stand and Stare

I am thinking of putting in for the LRPS and trawling back through my files to find a reasonable number of images from which to make up the selection of 10 needed.

This one, taken in Slovenia last summer, was one I kept going back to but did nothing with, so I decided to convert it to mono. Would love to know what you think.

Edit: Many thanks for the comments/suggestions, I have done a V2 which has been given a little more contrast and removed the offending spoke from the umbrella, which I hadn't even spotted!

It is very well composed with a good expression. Try increasing the contrast by about +50.

The mono works well, the idea is excellent, the shade through his head might be problematic.

I like the B/W shot and it makes me time like age is just a number with all the different times displayed on the clocks.Wink

I think the man is perfectly placed and you show a nice array of his wares. The background is unintrusive and subtle. V2 looks a lot better.
