To the Trig

By martinl
Looking up to the trig at Mam Tor as the sun rises to light up the land. There were a few clouds around at this time, but not many in the direction of Hope Valley or Edale where it is more traditional to shoot, but more behind and above us. I wanted to try and capture these sunlit clouds, as there weren't that many around!

Hope you like.

Again, no grads, but a combination of exposures for sky and land.

A wonderful composition, and the light was perfect.

Great shot Martin, love the colours and the lead in to the trig point. We waved at you but you were all too busy to notice us two.

more than lovely........lots of wonderful snowy details in this.....

This looks superb!! Love the lead through to the trig and the sky is awesome.
I wondered if a slight desaturation of cyan/blue on the snow might lift the grasses a bit more on the right hand side.
Interested in your thoughts on this. Not a criticism by any means, just thinking out loud.

A perfect composition, Martin, with the pink light ridges and tufts of grass leading the eye to the distant trig. An ooh and an aaah indeed.
