Tor to Fort

By BIGRY1
One from a somewhat disappointing evening last November on Higger Tor. I was waiting for the Sun to burst through and make an appearance but unfortunately it never appeared.Sad
The title refers to the mound at the bottom where the path leads to. That is known as Carl Wark, a hill fort that dates back to the Iron age supposedly.
Anyway, that is my history lesson over for the daySmile Thanks to everyone for the c&c's on my last upload, as always very much appreciatedGrin

I appreciate that light is important, Ryan, but this has a very peaceful and soothing atmosphere to it simply because of the subtlety of the light and the gentleness of the tones. I particularly like the sky and stones.

Impressive capture, Ryan, and I am rather taken by the rock on the right-hand side, presumably worn this way by wind and rain ... Carol Grin
