Tour of Britain II

Here is another image from my day out at the TOB. This image was taken at the Cockerham sprint. Unfortunately I missed the shot of the sprint due to a TV camera motorbike getting between the line and me, something I did not consider when positioning myself. However, I had to make do with the peloton going by. Hope you like it.

The motorbike cameras are difficult to get round. I found that when I went to Milton Keynes for the city centre race, the bike was just in front of the lead riders the whole time.
You have however managed to get a nice shot of Rob Hayles here.

The pro togs get very angry when the bikes stick too close to the riders and block shots, you'll quite often see a photographer telling them to speed up a bit!

Good shot of the peloton.

Sadly a close friend of mine lost his life last year in the P2P when his bike went from under him on a oil patch and the outrider who was riding close behind slipped also and went over the top of him....he was rding for CSC the the company he worked for.
