Have walked that pier and marvelled how they manoeuvred two vessels onto a thin strip of concrete....didn't have fences when we where there. St Kitts, and its railway, were one of my favourite stops on the cruise.

Lovely photo captures the cruise industry really well, which will bounce back.

Wow thatís an amazing photo. Yes the cruise industry will never be the same again. It may take many years to recover. The islands will definitely battle without the cruise ships.

Both ships had already disembarked a lot of passengers, I was walking off and turned round and there was this gap, couldn't believe it Smile The cruise industry will certainly bounce back, our cruise ended up sailing around in circles as we weren't allowed to dock, but people on board queued for 5 hours to book new cruises using the compensation we'd been offered. Smile We need a vaccination or herd immunity as soon as possible.
Well seen! Makes an interesting and topical shot.

this keeps getting to me. at first sight a gorgeous photo. with those vibrant colors and giant cruise ships. But then that herd, that invasion of every thinkable fluo color in the universe, which has something funny (I always see them closing in, in slow motion), but also something disturbing and invasive. For me it is a photo that asks questions about human kind. have my UA
