Whilst I'm sure you don't want to give away your technique, when you say multi exposures, do you mean that you exposed for different elements of the shot (ie, shadows, highlights etc)?

A fine shot Paul with a great sense of scale. Subtle post-processing adds to the drama, but I do find the foreground less well toned than the middle and background. It's darker and murkier looking. Would it be worth dodging to lighten the foreground up a little?
