Towards Skye

By watters66
Looking towards Skye from Dornie with Eilean Donan Castle in the foreground.

My interpretation of a much photographed view.

It is well worth the climb of the hills behind the car park of the castle as the view is superb.

On the day this was taken I thought if you could buy a view, even Mr Gates couldn't have afforded the purchase price!

F22 ISO 100. 1/6sec.
Tripod mounted,cable release,mirror lock up,Circular Polariser & Coral 2 filter.

Hello Stewart, what a cracking view from further up...I climbed up to the wee road which I didn't know was there, but this is super and the light is what brings out the magic. Excellent castle shot. click
