An excellent point of view in which you have managed to capture both this wonderfully old Capstan, and the ageing Whitby Lighthouse. Great lead in lines, which immediately makes the viewer want to explore deeper and deeper in the image.

The barrier fence links the two subjects in a pleasing way. The image is crisp and strong and a pleasure on the eyes. TG

There are so many pictures of Whitby, it's lovely to find a new and original view. Great work.
