As most of you know, I tend to do a lot of car shots, but actually, I'm not a foam at the mouth car fanatic. I consider cars the most established form of sculpture in the last century. Car photographers who become millionaires shooting cars do so because they have an artists eye for texture, form, light, and the relationship of form to function. Cars are tools. We use them to make our lifestyle possible.
This shot is the passenger side fender and hood in black and white with a layer of harsh, course grain added. With the ease of a simple program like Picasa, I can get the image I want in about two minutes.
