Not what i planned to upload today but decided to join in with silivu( gss) on the Trabant theme, something of an icon here in Bulgaria too. V1 and v2 art work in Sofia the capital. V3 and v4 hubby in a borrowed Trabant- a winter under the walnut tree shotGrin

Great series of images of the Trabant, an East German car that was so bad,it was good (Cheap)
Love the memorial to the defunct car that has endeared itself to this City Grin

Nice shots well spotted, Jo,!

I saw lots of these now icon cars, when working in former East Germany, made of lightest cheapest material ever. Danger to drive in. They would reduce your insurance cover if you promised NOT to wear a seat belt. Could be seen for miles from blue smoke coming from exhaust lol
