"Tradeston Bridge"

By RonnieAG
Whilst my better half was shopping today, I took advantage of a blink of sunshine and blue skies and pottered around the riverside........this is one of a number of images captured and shows the Tradeston pedestrian bridge over the Clyde, opened in May 2009.
It links Tradeston on the south bank with Anderston on the north bank.

My thanks to all who commented on What a Difference a Month Makes.

If you're going to start doing bridges I may just have to start up a KS studio, Ronnie!!TongueGrinGrin A very individual bridge and a very good view point to make the most of the shapes. The pedestrian is well-timed as well.

I particularly like the POV and the way you are led across the bridge by the handrail on the right of the image.

A fine wide angle composition which works well.

Glasgow has many hidden gems, sitting in full view but somehow we can miss them in busy lives.

Beautifully composed, Ronnie. Love the way the curved shadow of the railings leads the eye into the image, taking in the lone pedestrian and red splash of colour from the handbag. So crisp with lovely clean lines.
