Hi, this is a nice shot but could be made better by waiting for the pick up to move out of frame. Then again by the looks of it, it seems you may not have the time as the cars are moving forward.

I've uploaded a B&W version, hope you like it.

Thanks Shaks, the mod looks good! It reminds me of the old black and white movies!

New York is an interesting place Bethany, and nothing scream New York as much as those hordes of yellow cabs.

I like the mod by shaks, and the suggestion to wait for the truck to clear makes sense unless youve actually been to New York!

Its could be a little sharper, and its possible to tone down the glare from the sky somewhat in Photoshop, which Ive done in my first mod of two. The second mod is a sepia toned B&W that might be something to consider.

Youve captured the scale of the "canyon" in comparison to the cars well. I would love to be able to get a high vantage point, like on a roof for example to get a shot of the actual numbers of taxis, or a full intersection, - but for a passing street shot this is good work.

Next time, if you remember to include the camera settings information that would be great.

I can't remember if I was actually in the middle of the road or not when I took it. It looks like I'm about to be run over but I think I was standing just on the edge of the pavement. It's a shame I was with my frend othewise I would have stood there for hours trying to get it perfect. As it was, we moved on to Columbus Circle and I got my Peace shot!

Willie, I want to go back to NYC next year purely as a photography trip and then you'll have your roof shot! I also might get a more expensive camera - this one is a Fujifilm and it cost me 87 in the summer. It's 10 times better than the Samsung one for the same price, though!

Once again, thanks for the mod!
