Trapped

Hi
Okey, this is Little absurd.
I photographed a poster in front of a stone wall with lttle graffitti under the face.
Worked Little with light and this is the result - experiment.
Next time I do something else.

It's a tricky one to compose, being essentially a single, narrow vertical subject. You've placed it in a vertical frame - I would rather see more space - say place it to one side of a square, or even of a landscape fame, against a background of more of the stonework. Apart from composition considerations, those stones are amazing, I'm seeing faces in pretty well every single one!

I started off wishing that you had allowed a few more pixels at the top, to prevent your burned edges partially obscuring the lettering. But I think on balance I quite like the mystery this creates.

The balance of the glowing face and the glowing tag is intriguing.

i think it was a nice idea. i think the face a bit smaller and more work on the edges of the face would have made it realistic..

hi,
i really like this and applaud the creativity, looks like a mans head in a tube type light. like the ones with the globules floating about.

i do feel overall its dark where it needs to be vibrant and that the subject is tall and thin so id present it that way too.

i did a mod where i cropped tall and thin, kept the subject dead centre to add impact and to hell with thirds, then added tonal contrast in nik colour efex pro to punch up the contrast. i think it looks like a poster or a book cover.

great stuff and an exciting project to do a set of these

There is interest, but, as you have presented it, it doesn't work because of the wasted space each side but still with faint detail. I would have cropped drastically to a vertical letterbox, then it works quite well.

Hi
Thanks. Your mode is good.
I like the combination of the stonewall and the face.
In my croop I made the stonewall more important.

Hi
Thanks. Your croop is also good.
I think there are many ways to compose.
Maybe it is a personal taste?
