Treasury at Petra

By StevenSmith
The 'Pink City', Petra is a little off the beaten track in Jordan but an amazing experience.
A city largely cut into the rock face, these aren't just facades but have real (large)rooms inside.
Of course, it's a tourist trap and there are many 'bargain' trinkets on show but it still doesn't take away from the splendour of the place.

ps. the building really is that 'wonky' Smile

Was a lot more crowded when I visited back in 1998. Great shot in a difficult location. Well done.
