Tree Fern

By Sue_R
Another image of a tree fern at Inverewe Garden in Wester Ross.

V2 is a square crop to show the detail of it's fascinating fronds. I know I shouldn't have touched them really, but I have to confess that I did and they felt all furry, like the coat of an animal. Weird! Smile

I like the treatment you've given this, Sue. I was last in Inverewe garden about 47 years ago when I was still a medical student Smile

It's certainly different Sue, not sure it's my cup of tea, but I do like what you've achieved here, prefer the wider crop allowing the tree to show it's width.

Very interesting work, very bright and soft giving it a surreal effect. Ann

Version one for me Sue - not sure I am a fan of the treatment but interesting shapes in the fronds.

Amazing plant Sue, and brought very much to life by the treatment you've given it.Smile Think I have to go for V1 on this occasion. And if I had been there, I would've touched it to Smile
