Tree Light

By PaulMillar
Hi all, back on the road again with camera the last almost 3 months without it have been hard, my hand is getting stronger every day. Going back to work on Monday a big mile stone on the road to recovery. Enough about me. Ive spent so much time in Glen Coe over le last year thought it was time for you to have a change. Went a walk alond the river Almond neer Perth with my mate.....he's a crazy man goes there on his bike. there is a about a 50 feet drop behind the tree and the track is only about 2 feet wide. Im not into full blown macro, but like close up work. Going to post a few shots over the next few days working on natural light. I picked this tree because I loved the way the light was hitting it and the way it twisted. Was not to concerned with DOF but more about the light.......

Thanks again for all those good wishes, hope you enjoy................

The light is gorgeous. Great color and composition. If you have been out of commission for a while, this is a great way to start. Simple beautiful photo.

Beautiful light Paul - great to see you back.
The thing which stuck me about the image apart from the light
were the crossed branched which made me think -FINGERS CROSSED THAT ALL IS WELL WITH YOU!

Great to hear you're on the mend Paul, and back out with the trusty Camera. A fascinating tree shot here, but a little less fascinating going back to Work on Monday for you Sad

A very attractive composition with the main players the light and shade: when in the forest in our local park (Pollok Country Park in the centre of Glasgow) I am often looking for such studies but never seem to find what I am looking for.
I am glad to hear that you are recovering after your accident which sounded really ghastly, Paul.
