Tree of Stone

By PaulMillar
Hi all, headed out to Loch Arklet this morning to do battle with my old nemesis that tree. This is the third time I've shot it............not sure if I will ever get the lighting just the way I want it............such is life. This was the last outing with the 17-40mm l f4.0 usm Canon lens, its going just not for me, so if you are in need make me a sensible offer and its yours...............

Thanks again for the continude suport, sleep time for work............enjoy your Sunday eveing.

A beautiful vista with lovely light and the tree with the rocks
a fabulous f/g subject. Evokes that early morning stillness and peace.

Your "doing battle with that tree" has given you a beautiful image, Paul, with a nice subtle background that gives it centre stage.

That's a real beauty, Paul. I replaced my 17-40 with the 16-35f2.8LMkII - never regretted it.
