Driving to work last week I stopped to take this shot. I just like the way the snow had drifted against the trees.

Proves the value of keeping a camera in the car.

Like this a lot. Great repeating pattern almost graphic.

Hell yeah. As an alternative, you could crop maybe 10-15% off the bottom along with 20-30% off the top to get a great image of just the tree trunks.

Very nice. Well spotted, and good composition.

This is really pleasing, lovely effect of snow on trees and the 'verticalness' is effective(is there such a word!)

Yes I thought this had been photshopped to hell at first glance too! Fantastically bleak shot, quite ethereal. Keep 'em coming! Click

i like them both equally. i like the simpler composition here, but i like seeing the ground in the other one. can't really tell it's colour so much except for a bit of a green hue. which is fine.

great shot, looks great with teh snow against each tree trunk like that - would be good without the snow but this works best. nice range of tones and atmospheric lighting.

i agree about not seeking the "perfect image" - it doesnt exist - every thing to everyone will be seen differently - some will like, some won't - you can't satisfy everyone so it is far better to achieve really good and please as many as you can while enjoying doing it Grin

keep up the great work
