Yes I was just looking at Johnny BG's upload, it did seem that he had far more inclement weather to deal with. My first upload was even closer to the same spot.
For me, it was a pleasure to be out there last Saturday and an evening where the light lasted long after the sun set and you just don't want to leave

Reading your comments, I guess this is a location that you can visit time and time again and never get tired of it.
The warm, low light far more inviting than the oppressive feel of the b&w version.

Indeed Malc, I could never get tired of this location or in fact most of Cornwall Smile
Especially when you get those evenings and it takes what seems like an eternity for the light to fade. This wasn't this most spectacular afterglow, it was far more subtle
And combine that with the lack of pollution
