trial of hope

By Milla
Hello everyone,
Finally got something I want to upload here Smile
Just a simple image, taken yesterday at my window. Been waiting for my new lenses to arrive and it was driving me crazy, so I've done a little session with the old one. And as soon as I've finished, the new shiny toys got here, yay, pretty much excited about this! \o/

I know this shot is full of faults, detail in shadows is poor and the focus is risky, and of course the model is nothing like these beauties you can see on the site lol, but I still quite like this as it is.
Have a great weekend, people.

P.S. Once again thanks for your enthusiastic and encouraging response on my last upload, damn you have really made my week Smile

Cheers you two and the rest who have clicked Smile
I tend to think it suits mono better, but I'm not pleased enough with my conversion.
Oh, and about the title... it's my second trial, first one I've passed couple of weeks ago..

I think I prefer the mono one. Very original in its idea and presentation. That's what I admire about your work.

I think V2 for me Milla .... it just has a subtlety and cohesion that I think the colour version lacks.

Fantastic colours in V1, I think it goes well with the amp you are sitting on, gives the image an Indie feel

Great image Milla; I'm not quite convinced by the sunglasses taken from this angle which is probably mainly personal preference; but I love the lighting and the pose perfectly conveys the mood with you sat waiting for a delivery to arrive.

Now, that's a real compliment when heard from you, thanks, Marc Smile

Heh, cheers Phil =) Got these colours mostly by playing with channel mixer, levels/curves, and adding some diffuse glow, but apparently they work as intended.

Tim, you're right about the sunglasses, haven't noticed this earlier, but they look wierd because they're HUGE, lol.
Thanks, people (and lol Dave! Smile)
