Now these charming little chunks of concrete are on the tops of many a hill and have no further purpose since the advent of global positioning satelites. All they do now is remind us of the past, and you can buy them if you like - hence the plaque on this one.
it's taken last week with just a polariser on, natural light on the thing itself and a nice hole in that annoying cloud (it stopped all the wonderful light for the duration of my shoot!!!) giving a little golden ray.
