A 1959 Bonneville T120, the first of a line that would be produced until 1975, when it was superseded by the larger engined T140. Affectionately known as The Tangerine Dream, it has to be one of the most iconic bikes ever made. It was capable of hitting 115 m.p.h. and was named after the Bonneville Salt Flats in Utah, where, in 1956, a Triumph motorcycle achieved a two-way average speed of almost 215 m.p,h. After that date all Triumphs bore the inscription "The worlds fastest motorcycle" The stuff of legends.
