Tron Audi

I was a fan of the first Tron movie. The techno nerds went on and on about it wasn't Hi resolution and a bunch of other stuff that only computer geeks understand. The new Tron movie was playing at the local Pasadena theaters. Tron was in my mind when I saw this Audi in the later afternoon sun, parked on the street in old town Pasadena, it was catching the late afternoon sun, and looked a lot like the computer generated world of Tron. Half an hour later, on my way back to my car, the sun had dropped into a line of rain clouds approaching Pasadena. The suns quality was even more Tron like. I stopped to shoot some wide angle pictures of the car. I had some digital magic in mind. Ten hours later, I was having a lot more trouble getting the image I wanted than I had expected. I stopped working on images that didn't seem promising. It took two more hours and four episodes of The Big Bang Theory to get everything right.

I like the lines on this photo although I have to admit I do prefer your more abstract car shots Grin
