Trust me

By Drummerdelight
Thank you for your votes, comments & UA's for yesterday's posted portrait(s).
Here, I prefered the warm glow of the continious light (underexposed by me) and the color of her hair and lovely face(versus B&W)!
Took the image kneeled on one knee, this inbetween all the kinds of photographers, nerds, wannebee's (like meWink) and mobile-phone-users, I had a couple of trial and error experiments, trying to get the right composition, sharpness, expression and exposure. One has to start somewhere I guess...

Thank you for looking
A B&W version is included

Fine duo. I like V2 but both are very good piecesGrinGrinGrinGrin

Colour for me as it shows off that gorgeous hair.

Were you so taken by her that you proposed, Guy?Wink

I find myself in agreement with you when it comes to preferences. Colour this time for me, too. B&W doesn't do justice to her hair, and overall it lacks the impact of the original.

Colour edges it this time, though the mono is still good.
You wouldn't tell it was at a photo show but then I guess if it was on a lighting stall they'd mant to get the setup looking at its best.
Good example of using -1 compensation with the dark background and clothing to avoid subject overexposure.

I like both versions but particularly like the colour version.

That hair demands colour.

One knee (or two, even) is good. For full-length shots, it avoids perspective shrinking hte legs.

You're good at portraits, Guy!
Stunning pose & portrait, Guy.
Colour is my faveSmile
