Trying hard through a Scottish forest.

By Railcam
Firstly, thank you for the comments on my first three uploads anda special thanks to Shell68 and Spkr51 for the User Awards.

Back to the action stuff and it features Russell Brookes and Wilson Neil competing on the 1988, British Midland RSAC Scottish International Rally. They are driving a Ford Sierra RS Cosworth sponsored by Andrews Powerclean and it in a dusty forest in SW Scotland. They finished 3rd overall.

Thank you pablophotographer. As rallying often took place in dull light a fast film was essential. Fujichrome 400 became the film of choice for the pros as it was fast and fine grain but also was fine in full sun. Kodachrome 200 was OK in the dull but was not good in sun so not as versatile as Fuji and it was also a stop slower.

Needless to say, I was stood behind a stout tree.

Digging in and powering out - front wheels in the air - well caught - a fine shot. Smile
