Tudor House 3

By pamelajean
Continuing this series. 2 images, one from outside the railings, one from inside the railings.

Something strange happened on Monday.
I was due to visit the Isle Of Wight with a group, but we missed the Southampton Ferry, so the group decided not to waste the day, but to visit a lovely old building just around the corner. Guess which building it was.
This time I was able to go inside to see the museum, garden and King Johnís Palace, an adjacent Norman house. What a treat, and, considering the research I had been doing on this building, the place came alive for me immediately.
Tudor House gives a unique and atmospheric insight into the lives and times of both its residents through the years, and of Southampton itself.

Grateful thanks to those of you who were interested enough in my previous Tudor House post to leave your kind votes and comments.

All's well that ends well, then! Smile Two excellent shots here, Pamela, of this wonderful building. Like both, but slightly favour the version, being in there inside the railings SmileTrev Smile
