Tulips in a Glass Vase

By flowerpower59
This is the first time I have managed to shoot glass (actually an old celery glass) without reflections. It is thanks to some muslin I have hung across the window. I did forget the reflector to bounce a bit of light back to the right side of the flowers can't have everything Blush

Good to see some still life I love tulips at this time of year. The tulips stretch up and stead across the image giving you width and depth, the muslin adds that little bit extra

Well done

Like me, you seem to think about these things after the event Colleen but I really like this anyway! The clean simple colours are lovely and well done on the glass.

I do always struggle with the colour red but you have got the tones just perfect with this still-life Fiona, a truly beautiful spring image Grin

I think this is the best still life in your portfolio for it's simplicity, well arranged flowers,
lovely texture and nice shadow.
