Uh....very nice GrinWink Love the light, the tones (he nearly looks like a sculpture), well chosen background and separation and the lines (especially along his head and neck).
I would like to see a version with a bit more space in front of his body...more a square or even a pano...not sure it would look really better but just curious as it would leave more space for his gaze...the tunnel vision.

Wonderful work again, No. 2of2 - you can be seriously proud of yourself and I bet he liked the photos Smile

like it, Tanya.. a strong, reflective portrait with a feeling of privacy.. very fine portrait.. I would have certainly appreciated the mono more..

Very good photo, Tanyah! Prefer the colour, as it is almost mono. I think it will lose it`s impact if totally mono. Regards Martin

Thank you all - particularly John and Isabel for your UAs! Smile

I did toy with pure mono, but I wanted to keep the slightly muted colours of the graffiti in the background and the warm skin tones, hence the almost-but-not-quite mono approach Grin

Yeah, I'm slowly getting there, Keith Wink

@Isabel - I only took the one shot of this, in portrait format, so although I could do a version with more space on the left, I'd have to 'create' the extra fill-in and I'm not sure my skills are quite up to that kind of seamless finesse yet! Smile Still, something to think about for next time - note to self: do a version in both portrait and landscape, to give the option Grin And I think the whole 'tunnel vision' thing was more on my part than his, to be honest Blush
