...in the sound of Tongue, the villages of Mellness, Midtown and Talmine across the fast flowing tide.
Just to prove the sun shines in Scotland, but I do prefer moody drama in the sky. I do hope my good friend Johanna (Brownsilent) sees this, and sees the sunshine always comes out after the rain.
Perhaps so, Dougie, I do agree with you but at the same time it is great to see the sun out occasionally and showing off the colours in the landscape and in the sea in particular here: blues and greens and the white crests from the fast moving flow.
At least you were able to leave your brolly in the car for 5 minutes.
A beautiful scene Dougie, one which fills ones eyes with wonder and splendour. Glorious natural colours in abundance and clarity in depth. An exceptionally welcoming and refreshing sight.
I love these big blue skies with gorgeous fluffy clouds. A beautiful scene. Moira
You should have been at Balnakeil that day!! Those clouds are beautiful hanging over the sea and hills.
Pleasant and delightful.
With that lovely sky and composition Dougie this has to be a winner
Great shot !!......lovely serene quality !!!!
Fabulous lines in the water . . .
Yes, the sun does shine, but its skies have less character that moody ones . . .
Shadow Saturday - purely unofficial but already has a few fans
Loved this Dougie and of course we know that the sun shines in our beautiful country! Ann.
Makes me want to load up the car and head north.
So lovely and inviting
