Twighlight Architecture ...

A slightly different [and more puppy friendly] take on Bamburgh castle. Taken late evening on our first night here, in August. Not sure what this wooden huts purpose is, I'm sure someone more knowledgeable can enlighten me though!!!

I don't for one minute believe it's a new viewpoint, but it's a little different to the 'norm' Wink

Well composed and very dramatic shot. I like how you have kept the foreground sharp and great DoF. Having two points of interest makes my eye flick back and forward between the castle and the hut but not enough to spouil my enjoyment of this great shot.

I've got one from more or less this angle as well, but I have never done anything with it, as I didn't think it was strong enough. This may have caused me to think again!

Good image - the two buildings create an interesting linear interest with a good contrast at either end.

I like this Paul. Nicely composed and good to see a different viewpoint from the norm. The sky looks a tad heavy to me top left and right though .... have you done any PP work on it.

No Dave, not really touched the sky ... apart from removing the faintest of colour casts from the Cokin filter. No curves work on it though or any dodge & burn either.

I know what you mean Martin, this one sat there for a while before I decided it had some merit.

Hard work today all that playing about in the snow covered highlands here with rivers frozen, sun shining Smile icey trees etc , i`m just knackered Smile
