Loch Rusky often is shrouded by mist and as such makes it a great venue for an early morning autumn shoot. Never have I witnessed it with such sumptuous, almost holy light as this though. The two pale blue wooden row boats were shrouded by a cloak of spun gold which I managed to capture just for a moment when the sun mysteriously appeared. Even the slightest bit of post processing disturbs the tonal smoothness where the light transitions so this was simply captured and a tiny bit of sharpening applied, otherwise left alone.
