During this time of lockdown, having shot nearly every flowering plant in the garden, I thought I'd have a go at the solitary patch of 4 tulips. Dappled, soft light - check; not in bright sunlight - check; good background - nope.
Sitting in front of a rather bedraggled leylandii hedge, the background left a lot to be desired, so I angled the shot so that the gap in the hedge allowed a little light through from behind.
After the usual quick check in Lightroom, I took it into Photoshop and 'twirled' it, which has become quite fashionable this month. However, I didn't want to lose the flowers completely so I took a soft brush and painted them back in.
