Twisleton Re-visited

By Nick_w
Thanks for all the comments and user awards on my last upload

Usually when I present an image to EPZ (or other sites) its as I want it presented. I'm a perfectionist (to a fault) and I'm always looking to improve.

Well as I said when I last uploaded this, I'm out of practice processing landscape images - it's completely different from my usual workflow, anyway a comment from Paul Sutton got me thinking (BTW thanks mate), I had forgotten two important stages in my Landscape workflow (memo to self I really should invest in a pen and pencil and take notes). ....anyway I'm now happy with this, much more "punch" and "Separation" (not necessarily Saturation as such Wink )

One of the reasons why I moved away from landscapes was I got bored with the same locations, and same / similar vantage points. I now have a project which I will be working on from October either at known locations with different vantage points (if possible) or from new locations ...I guess this tho' is the wholly grail, but if you don't try....

Have a great bank holiday.

A beautiful landscape image, the colour tones, foreground with the rocks and lone tree, texture, and composition make this a beautiful panorama.

I have become far more reliant on written reminders and YouTube tutorials being bookmarked for photographic things I don't do every day...any variation from the 'daily processing' and I need reminding.

The separation in this is excellent, Nick. As you say, not's the 3D effect that is so stunning.
