Two...Bar-headed Goose

By Fred263
Thanks for your clicks, comments & votes to my previous image for which I'm most appreciative. I would especially like to thank Mike(MikeSmith) & Bob(BobPaige1) for their valued UAs.

I hope you may like my image today of the juvenile pair of Bar-headed Geese which was taken at ZSL, Whipsnade Zoo just one week ago on a lovely day. These beautiful birds are in danger due to overhunting. They live in mountain lakes in the breeding season in central Asia and cultivated grazing areas in winter in Pakistan & India. They are one of the highest flying birds and have been seen at heights up to 10,175m (33,382ft) that is higher than Mount Everest.Smile

Thanks for looking & have a great day.
