Two Countries

This was taken from the same spot as 'dark evening' last week, this time with the lens at 500mm. The view is through the northern end of the Lakeland mountains, over the Solway Firth to the mountains of Galloway, around 50 miles to the peak. The only spot of sunlight was on the water. I'm hoping to see a sunset in this gap in the future, maybe in a couple of weeks time. I'm afraid it isn't very silly.

Thanks for all the votes and comments on my Valley in shadows shot yesterday. the response made me feel happier about getting very wet and cold for the shot!
