This shot was taken in Quebec City, Canada. We were on a long roadtrip out to Halifax on the East Coast and stopped off here for lunch and a wander around. It's a nice place, kindof reminded me of a busier Ottawa- very clean and tidy, perhaps a bit too clean and tidy for my tastes (I like my cities with some proper urban grit). Still, some parts of it showed real character, like this deserted back-street. The title is, as you may have guessed, inspired by the shapes the shadow "cuts" into the road. Enjoy.
